Look: Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise in 12 cute images

Nintendo unveiled a free update for the game and surprised fans with the announcement of Happy Home Paradise DLC.

This expansion is a spiritual successor to the 3DS game Happy Home Designer and tasks players with creating vacation homes on a resort archipelago. This is what you can expect from Happy Home Paradise!

You’ll join the Paradise Planning Home, an organization that designs dream vacation homes for residents of a resort archipelago. You’ll learn what each character likes and plan their homes and yards accordingly.

Nintendo will introduce many new building options, such as adjusting a room’s size and creating partition walls and pillars to divide up space.

You will also be able to design schools, restaurants, and even hospitals!

You can also adjust the lighting and soundscape of a room and polish all of the items within it to unlock some special effects.

Eventually, you’ll even be able to revisit and redesign vacation homes you’ve worked on and even give those characters roommates.

You can share your designs and visit vacation homes that others designed on the Happy Home Network.

All of the interior design features Happy Home Paradise introduces will also be usable on your original New Horizons island.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise will be released on November 5, 2021.
