Skullcandy's Doritos earbuds collab is ridiculously cheesy

If for some reason, you ever wanted wireless earbuds that look like a Doritos chip, Skullcandy has you covered with its latest bizarre collab.

SOLD OUT

People are really into Doritos — for evidence, look no further than Skullcandy’s limited-edition wireless earbud collab with the chip brand, which has already sold out. We’re not quite sure who was asking for this, but Skullcandy hasn’t shied away from interesting collabs in the past.

It’s a little hard to see the 4/20 connection for this collab, but it does sound like one of those brilliant ideas that you get when you’re blazed out of your mind, so maybe there’s some synergy there.

“Like dude, what if we, like, made earbuds that look like a Dorito chip, man.”

Just bask in that cheesy goodness that is the charging case. You really have to appreciate those earbuds that I can only describe as Fieri-esque. Skullcandy is offering its Doritos collab in two colorways, orange and red.

Other than the unique look, the Doritos earbuds are based off Skullcandy’s Dime True Wireless earbuds. You’ll get 12 hours of battery time, built-in media controls, IPX4 sweat and water resistance. The earbuds have a noise-isolating fit with an auto on/off function and you can also use either earbud solo.

Limited-edition dust tray

As maybe the only real indication that it’s a 4/20 collaboration, the first 100 buyers will get a limited-edition Skullcandy x Doritos “dust tray.”

Skullcandy

Skullcandy priced its Doritos earbuds pretty affordably at $35. At that price point, they’re just weird looking earbuds at its worst. But at its peak, people will respect you for your Doritos devotion.

On the plus side, if you ever get cheesy Dorito dust on your earbuds, it’ll just add to the aesthetic.
