This lightning-fast electric go-kart tops out at 60 mph

Meet the eGo Kart , an all-electric go kart from Bulgaria-based electric vehicle firm, Kinetik. It has a top speed of 60 mph, acceleration to 56 mph in 3.90 seconds, and a motor torque of 90 Newton-meters.

6.8 miles The kart has a range of 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) between charges, and its 32 Amp-hour battery charges in 10 minutes.

Perfect for taking on the toughest circuits...

The body is entirely 3D-printed, then fitted with a 20-kilowatt electric motor.

"The small team have used their extensive knowledge in the field of 3D printing to craft a futuristic design that looks like it has come from another planet. $13,962 Karting won't come cheap – the vehicle is set to cost €11,900 ($13,962) when it launches in spring 2021.

It's not the first electric go-kart. BizKarts' Ecovolt GT offers a five-kilowatt-hour pack for one-hour run times.
