The Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S21 could finally be launching early next year.
According to a leak from Jon Prosser, who has a decent track record for predicting this sort of thing, the phone will be launched early next year, albeit only in Europe.

The Galaxy S21 FE is rumored to launch in January 2022.
Leaked specs and images have revealed what the phone might look like, matching up renders from earlier in the year. Similar to last year’s FE, the leaked S21 FE appears to have a plastic body, which is saves on cost. Apart from that, the phone is basically a spitting image of the S21.
The Fan Editions of Samsung Galaxy phones are devices that strip away all the unnecessary features. That ends up cutting costs, but not at the expense of performance or high-end features. According to rumors, however, the S21 FE will keep many of the S21’s top features, including the chip.
About the only thing we don’t know is the price. While leaks have surfaced on that front, it’s hard to say for sure. It’s been reported that the S21 FE will launch at £737 ($995), which is a substantial price jump from the £599 ($808) S20 FE.
Considering this is supposed to be a more affordable phone, it’s hard to fathom Samsung putting such a hefty price tag on the FE. In any case, we’ll know more at the rumored January 4 Unpacked event.
