Nintendo’s latest Indie World showcase paraded the small but mighty

A number of titles that revel in simplistic, arcade-like gameplay were revealed at the event.

Nintendo carves out space for independent developers to get word of their games out to the Switch’s massive fandom through its Indie World presentations, during which a range of indie games are showcased.

The titles unveiled at the latest Indie World range from established names like Ooblets to new games specifically tailored to the Switch hardware.

Here are some of the most promising reveals.

Starting things off is Another Crab’s Treasure from AggroCrabGames, which offers a slash-em-up crustacean experience set to arrive in 2023.

Next is the surrealist puzzle game Silt from Games Circus and Fireshine Games, set to hit the Switch in June.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator from Landfall Games is my personal favorite entry. It’ll hit the Switch over the summer.

Ooblets, developed by Glumberland, makes its Switch debut this summer after releasing for Xbox in 2020.

Lost Haven, a hack-and-slash RPG from Stormind Games and Team17 will arrive for the Switch in the fall.

Gunbrella is a high-wire, side-scrolling shooter from Doinksoft and Devolver Digital that will drop for the Switch in 2023.
