Fortnite's Galactus event was underwhelming

You got to ride the Battle Bus, which was cool, I guess.

The end of every season of Fortnite is marked with a big event that completely changes the game. Season 4 was Marvel themed, and therefore its end was met with a worthy foe: Galactus, The Devourer of Worlds!

As a Marvel fan, I had to get in on the action. Here's me and and my friend, a longtime Fortnite player, eagerly awaiting the hungry one's arrival!

It started out promising enough! After Galactus destroyed the Helicarrier, Iron Man showed up with a jepack to save our skin. We had to stop the World Eater from absorbing the Zero Point, a singularity found in the middle of Fortnite's map.

The plan? Iron Man cloned thousands of Battle Buses, and rigged them all to explode. A very un-Avengers thing to do, might I add. We then had to all fly toward Galactus, destroying his drones, and convince him to eat us. Despite loading into the game with my friend, it was an incredibly solitary affair.

Eventually we got to fly up his arm to fight, yep, you guessed it, more drones! Thor and Wolverine showed up to help out, but eventually we flew directly into the big guy's mouth, and the plan went off without a hitch.

And that was it! Yep, that was literally all we had to do. Pretty anticlimactic, and even the teaser for Season 5 left me scratching my head. You won't have to wait long to play it, though, as Fortnite's servers are back up next week!
