You'll want to get rid of your furniture to make room for this giant pod-shaped gaming rig.
PC gaming is all about taking it to the next level. First, you start out with one monitor, then it’s three, then it’s a water-cooled PC mounted on your wall with enough RGB to be seen from space. What comes after that? Well...
The answer is an immersive PC experience that is probably the closest we’ll ever get to a Gundam cockpit. The Orb X is the latest immersive gaming pod, but unlike Razer’s Project Brooklyn prototype, this one is real and comes in white or black.
Based on the careful wording in the marketing, it’s very likely that you'll need to supply your own PC and monitors. But don’t worry, Cooler Master put RGB everywhere to make sure you don’t forget it’s for gaming.
The Orb X supports one large monitor or up to three 27-inch displays.
Surround sound speakers are built into the rig. At least you won’t have to deal with cable management since there’s a hidden compartment on the backside that stores the PC.
The Thronos costs as much as 15 RTX 3080s ($899 MSRP) or a new Chevrolet Spark.
The Orb X could cost much less, but it’ll probably be out of reach for most people. While this is one insane PC gaming station, hold off on putting this on your holiday wishlist for now as Cooler Master hasn’t provided a release date or price.
