Design
The Clever Commute and Dynamic Cargo were recently unveiled as the German manufacturer seeks to provide mobility options for the city.
Automakers are trying to figure out how to produce alternative means of transportation and a lot of this innovation is taking place within the e-bike and e-scooter space
Accordingly, BMW has introduced two new e-vehicle concepts this week: Clever Commute, an electric scooter, and Dynamic Cargo, an e-bike.
Because of its design, the e-scooter can be carried around in public or thrown into the back of your trunk easily.
For what it’s worth, BMW does not plan on building the Clever Commute itself but instead is aiming to license the design to others. Maybe we can get an added off-roading concept from a brand like Polaris? Probably not, but it’s fun to imagine.
Dynamic Cargo meanwhile is a compact cargo bike concept meant to retain the feel of riding a normal bike while still having safe transport options.
The e-bike is a three-wheel design and has a compartment located between the two rear wheels for storage. This compartment comes with attachments for transporting a variety of goods and can also serve as a seat for children.
