'Fortnite' Season 7 Rift Locations Map: Where to Find Them for Week 7

Breaking through the fabric of reality yet again.

Rifts haven’t been prominent in the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale for quite some time now, but they’re still around if you know where to look for them. Now, a new Week 7 challenge that requires players to “use a Rift or Rift-to-Go in different matches” will have you doing just that. If you’re wary of these inter-dimensional wormholes, you’ll be pleased to know that players only have to do this three times, making this one pretty easy.

Week 7 began on Thursday morning, and along with visiting every expedition outpost, players also have to use Rifts or Rift-to-Go’s for this challenge. These tears in the fabric of reality have remained pretty consistent since they first appeared, but their spawn locations do occasionally change. So while previous Rift maps help, they might not be totally accurate.

Note the language of the challenge, which requires players use the portals in “different” matches. And because acquiring a Rift-to-Go is totally random, players should take their fate into their own hands by targeting legitimate Rifts. The best course of action, then, is to dive directly for a Rift at the start of three successive matches.

Here's a solid roundup of most of the remaining rifts on the 'Fortnite' island in Season 7.

It’s possible to pursue this challenge while simultaneously doing the one for Expedition Outposts. We suggest landing directly on the Rift east of Pleasant Park and then on the second skydive, visiting the outpost just north of that location. From there, players should be able to take a nearby X-4 Stormwing and fly it wherever they need to.

We also suggest aiming for the old stage coach on the northern edge of Paradise Palms city, where several Rifts tend to spawn. But no matter what destinations players choose, they should have an easy time with this challenge.

The in-game countdown says that Fortnite Season 7 doesn’t end until February 27, 2019. So players have a little over a month left to complete this and other challenges before Season 8 is upon us, bringing all sorts of new map changes, challenges, and rewards with it.

Here’s an in-depth look at everything included in the Fortnite Season 7 Premium Battle Pass.
