'Fortnite' Week 2 Secret Star: Loading Screen Leads to a Hidden Banner

Here's exactly where to find it.

Fortnite’s starting to get a little bit more creative with its secret clues in the ongoing Snowfall challenges because Week 2. At the very least, we’re happy the location doesn’t overlap with a specific challenge destination, like it did in Week 1.

Week 2 in Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 kicked off Thursday morning, and for any players that complete all seven of the weekly challenges — including dance offs and piano-playing — they unlocked the secret Snowfall loading screen. That, in turn, offers a clue to either a secret battle star or a hidden banner. This being an even-numbered week, it’s the latter.

The Week 2 Snowfall loading screen depicts the Lynx outfit, who starts out looking like a nerdy hacker and eventually evolves into a Catwoman meets female Black Panther type of costume. She’s at some sort of complicated set up of computer consoles designing her full costume, and the hidden banner clue is right on the screen.

Lynx is a badass, but doesn't she seem a little bit out of place in the wintry Season 7?

Unlike most weeks, the image of the banner isn’t the clue leading to its location. The clue(s) are the computer screens. Not many players will recognize this, but the setup is actually tucked away inside a building in the new wintery area of the map.

Specifically, the location players need to find is in Frosty Flights, the named area that’s southwest of Polar Peak.

Right at that northeastern red building is where players can find the location.

Players will want to head for the northeastern-most part of the Frosty Flights compound, specifically to the red-topped corner. Land just barely west of that red box to access a second-story story, then make a hard left to go through another clear interior door, and the computer console will be right around the corner.

The banner will be sitting right in front of the console depicted in the loading screen, but again, only players that have completed all of the Week 2 challenges will be able to claim it.

According to the in-game countdown, Fortnite Season 7 doesn’t end until February 27, 2019. So players have plenty of time to complete this and other challenges before Season 8 is upon us all.

Here’s a look at the new winter wonderland that is Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 in the new trailer.
