'Fortnite' Season 6 Challenges: Streetlight Spotlight Locations on a Map

Put on those dancing shoes.

Fortnite Season 6 began early Thursday morning, ushering in several scary map changes, new pets that hang out in back bling, and, of course, there’s the first week of challenges. Darkness rises in the chaotic world of Fortnite: Battle Royale, but that doesn’t mean anybody gets to stop dancing on, near, or under inanimate objects in the game.

Many of the first Fortnite Season 6 challenges are straightforward, like picking up Legendary items or healing with a Cozy Campfire, but one location-based challenge requires that players “Dance under different Streetlight Spotlights.”

“Streetlight Spotlights” is a clunky term for a special kind of streetlight that’s been added to the game as part of Season 6. Some regular streetlights that hang over roads in the game now have a set of speakers strapped to them around the middle. When players get close enough, they’ll hear music coming from them. That’s how to know when you’re in the right place.

Here’s a map detailing many of the potential locations where players can find Streetlight Spotlights:

The challenge only requires that players dance under seven different Streetlight Spotlights, and because they don’t need to be done in a single match, there’s really no rush on completing it. Once a player dances under these special lights, music will continue playing and a strobe light will flash different colors.

Generally speaking, it’s very easy to find the Streetlight Spotlights by focusing on virtually any named location. The key is to focus on whatever paved streets run through the area and to listen for the music proximity audio cue. We’d recommend following the multi-stage “Land at …” challenge that starts with “Land at Junk Junction” and then moving east through Lazy Links and Risky Reels

Fortnite Season 6 is only just beginning, so there’s plenty of time to complete this Challenge before Season 7 arrives sometime in December.
