'The Predator' Gruesome Final Red Band Trailer Debuts Even More Aliens

Bring on the insane gore, bad language, and good dogs.

In the final trailer for The Predator, the big and small aliens rip plenty of people to shreds with all manner of high-tech gadgets, and they’ve brought a few very good dogs with them that are also pretty good at murdering humans.

20th Century Fox released a new red band trailer for The Predator ahead of the mid-September release, and it doesn’t shy away from gruesome action and some pretty decent humor. After a young kid accidentally calls a couple Predators to Earth by activating a homing beacon, it’s up to a motley crew of ex-soldiers (all of them “mental”) to stop the aliens. This seems like pretty standard stuff for Predator movies, but the inclusion of a much larger “Ultimate Predator” and some Predator Dogs feels refreshingly new. (These dogs are different from the Hell-Hounds in Predators (2010).

Just a few good dogs being good right here.

Sterling K. Brown’s Will Traeger, who is an alien technology expert with Project Stargazer, says the most utterly ridiculous things throughout the trailer with totally deadpan delivery. When Olivia Munn’s Casey Bracket criticizes the “Predator” name, she argues that the aliens behave more like sports hunters rather than predators.

“Well we took a vote. Predator’s cooler. Right?” he says to a crowded room of scientists that murmur in agreement. “Fuck yeah.”

Later, he says, “Gentlemen, they’re large, they’re fast, and fucking you up is their idea of tourism!” That’s when some forearm mounted blade from one Predator’s arm rips a guy in half at the waist.

Yeah, Shane Black’s Predator is going to be a totally insane thrill ride with that’ll ramp up the foul language and violent gore in the best way possible.

The Predator will be released in theaters September 14, 2018.
