If you’ve been on the fence about getting an Xbox One S, then there might be no better time than right now during Amazon Prime Day because you can get this starter bundle for the low price of $229.99. That’s roughly $70 in savings from the usual price.

The considerable bonus here is the 3 months of Xbox Game Pass and 3 months of Xbox Live Gold, which means you can play online for free during that period and get access to more than 200 games from previous generations of Xbox consoles. There’s all three Bioshock games, Bayonetta, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, along with most Gears of War and Halo games from recent memory. It’s only getting better from there.

Avengers: Infinity War might’ve been memed as the most ambitious crossover event of all time, but even Square Enix was doing ambitious crossovers a decade ago. Dissidia began as an epic crossover game series featuring tons of Final Fantasy characters in an action-fighting game. The plot and narrative construct feels a bit like a cheap, cash-grabby mobile game with tons of fan service — and yet, you can’t argue how cool it is to make fanboy dreams of Cloud vs. Squall come true.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a few years old at this point, but for Prime Day 2018 Amazon is offering it for PlayStation 4 at the low price of $19.99. That’s 50 percent off the usual price!

I’ll level with you: I’m a huge fan of the Final Fantasy franchise who absolutely loved Final Fantasy VII through Final Fantasy X and even the MMO Final Fantasy XI. None of the more recent entries in the franchise grabbed me, until Final Fantasy XV.

The game is not without its flaws, but the story is compelling, albeit incoherent at times. I’ll maintain that Final Fantasy X was the last great game for the franchise, but XV is the closest we’ve gotten since.

If, for whatever reason, you’ve been waiting to get this one for your game library, get this definitive Royal Edition that includes a bunch of DLC, great additional features, and other pieces of bonus content. It’s all for the reasonable price of $39.82 for Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Child gamers around the world might never understand how cool and retro this sweet special edition Nintendo 3DS XL is. Gamers like me were very young when the original SNES came out, so being able to play old and new games on a 3DS XL that looks like this is a treasure.

For Prime Day, this 3DS XL is 25 percent off at $149.99. There are cheaper options for purchasing a 3DS console, but do any of them look this cool? And the fact that this comes with the OG Super Mario Kart just makes this that much better.

[3. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX - 3DS Digital Download](https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Links-Awakening-Digital/dp/B017V7DIGW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1531836680&sr=8-4&tag=inverse03-20)

Originally released in 1993 for the first GameBoy, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was the Zelda franchise’s first entry into mobile gaming, and it totally holds up, especially when this digital download for $5.99 features the 1998 Game Boy Color re-release.

This adventure is set on in the dream world of Koholint Island, where Link has to contend with Chain Chomps, Goombas, and other iconic Nintendo characters and items, like a Yoshi plush doll.

[2. Super Mario World (New 3DSXL Only) - 3DS Digital Download](https://www.amazon.com/Super-Mario-World-3DSXL-Only/dp/B01M12UXDZ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1531836680&sr=8-2&tag=inverse03-20)

The low price of $7.99 for one of the all-time great Mario games seems like a no-brainer. Originally released in 1990, Super Mario World is the ideal 2D platforming experience, especially when accented by colorful levels and an excellent sountrack.

Like several of the other classic digital download, this one only works for the newer generations of Nintendo 3DS systems, so especially if you’ve got that new Super NES Edition, you’ll feel totally blissed out in terms of retro gaming homages.

One of the greatest adventures in The Legend of Zelda gaming franchise is available as a 3DS digital code for only $7.99. For any younger gamers claiming that Breath of the Wild is the greatest entry in the series, think again. This is where things got really good.

This purchase gets you a digital download code for the newer generation of 3DS systems, and you play a crisp version of the game in 2D.
