'Deadpool 2' Trailer Will Debut With a Huge Marvel Movie

The first teaser for Deadpool 2 came attached to Logan early last year, so it’s only natural that the first official trailer debut with another Marvel movie in the coming months. In this case, it’s Black Panther.

Collider announced Wednesday that the first official Deadpool 2 trailer would come attached to Black Panther. Aside from linking up with yet another Marvel property, this actually makes a lot of sense. The first Deadpool movie came out Valentine’s Day weekend 2016, and Black Panther comes out that same weekend in 2018.

More specifically, Black Panther is due in theaters February 16 with earlier screenings occurring on Thursday, February 15 at 7 p.m. local time. Fans can see the trailer on the big screen before T’Challa defends the kingdom of Wakanda as both king and Black Panther. But Collider also reports — though unconfirmed — that Fox plans to release the trailer online on Valentine’s Day, which falls on Wednesday this year.

How romantic.

Remember when Deadpool wasn't fast enough to save that poor guy?

The “official” Deadpool 2 synopsis released in November 2017 makes mention of “a near fatal bovine attack” and “a pack of sexually aggressive canines” as Deadpool “journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor.” So, yeah, take that with a grain of salt.

We do know that Deadpool 2 will include the likes of newcomers Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz), along with returning characters Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand). Other cast members have been confirmed, like T. J. Miller’s return as Weasel.

Collider does claim that we’ll finally get some footage of Brolin’s Cable in action, so get excited for that.

Other than much of the casting and a few assumptions made based on the comics stories involving these characters, we really don’t know much about what we can expect from Deadpool 2, but chances are we’ll learn a lot more when this trailer releases on Valentine’s Day.

Deadpool 2 will be released in theaters May 18, 2018.

'Avengers: Endgame' Quantum Realm Theories May Be Focused on the Wrong Hero

Here's why Doctor Strange is the actual key to unlocking the Quantum Realm.

The Quantum Realm is all but confirmed to play a huge role in Avengers: Endgame, and that’s led everyone to assume Ant-Man is a key part of how the remaining Avengers will defeat Thanos. But what if another character is actually far more important when it comes to whatever quantum shenanigans occur in Endgame? What if it’s actually Doctor Strange who leads the way? After all, he’s already been to the Quantum Realm once before.

'Star Wars: Episode IX' Leak Seemingly Confirmed by Official Set Photo

The Star Wars: Episode IX title is still a mystery, but on Friday, fans got their first official look at the new movie courtesy of director J.J. Abrams. The image, which shows Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in an emotional embrace is meant to mark the last day of filming for the latest Star Wars movie, but it might also confirm a pretty huge Episode 9 leak from earlier this week.

'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Premiere Is Missing One Very Important Character

Winter has arrived in Westeros, but the Night King may be missing in action when Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres this April. A full cast list of the first episode of the show’s final season leaked this week, and while it’s full of surprising characters we didn’t expect to see again, one major absence may be even more telling.

'Fortnite' Season 8 Map Changes Coming as Earthquakes Rip Up the Island

We could be looking at a whole new map very soon.

Rumbling deep below the surface of the Fortnite: Battle Royale island is the secret that could reshape the entire map before Season 8. There’s a lot more than just the Overtime challenges to keep us busy for the rest of the month.

Players have been reporting seismic activity in the form of in-game earthquakes in Fortnite for about a week already, and things began to get more dire Thursday and Friday as huge cracks began to emerge in the ground at various locations. The first seemingly formed Thursday southwest of Tomato Temple, a second formed north of Tomato Temple, and the third emerged overnight near Lazy Links.

'Alita: Battle Angel' Ending Cameo Was "Tough Casting" That Sets Up Sequel

There is a surprise waiting at the end of Alita: Battle Angel. The new sci-fi movie from Robert Rodriguez, based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga Gunnm, has a previously unannounced celebrity and former Marvel actor playing one of the movie’s biggest roles. But who? And, most importantly, why?

In interviews with director Robert Rodriguez, he revealed that the surprise casting is meant to lock in capable actors for big roles in future Alita sequels, which was a lot tougher to pull off than it looks. (Maybe not as tough as motorball, but still.)
